I feel like I have a responsibility as an artist and youth mentor to represent women in a predominantly male industry. “I have experienced the obstacles we face as women with the imbalance of bookings for events, festival lineups, collaboration, portrayal of aesthetic and appearance in the media compared to male rappers.
The purpose of the tour is to bring audiences out to support women uniting on stage.”

Queens of Art will be on at the Junction (J3) on Saturday, March 14. Doors: 7pm. Tickets: £5.50.
